Clinical Associate Professor Ha Phan is affiliated with the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Mississippi’s School of Pharmacy. She coordinates the PGY-2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy residency program, serves as an ambulatory care rotation preceptor, and leads the PHCY 601 academic course. Her clinical practice focuses on pediatric endocrinology and medicine/pediatrics (Med/Peds) clinics, including managing patients with type 1 diabetes and pediatric weight management.
Dr. Phan’s research interests include ambulatory care metrics, innovative practices in ambulatory care, residency training, and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SOTL). Her teaching spans endocrinology, ambulatory pharmacy services, community pharmacy specialties, women’s health, and pediatric chronic diseases. She holds a PharmD from the University of Maryland, Baltimore (2017).
Her research explores executive function in early childhood, effects of screen use on developmental milestones, and cross-cultural studies in Latin America. She investigates the interplay between motor activity and cognitive development, emphasizing creativity and embodiment in learning.
