Megan Wesling, PharmD, BCPS, BCACP, CDCES, is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Pharmacotherapy at the UNT System College of Pharmacy, part of the University of North Texas Health Science Center. She holds a PharmD from Midwestern University and completed PGY-1 and PGY-2 residency training in pharmacy practice and ambulatory care. Her roles include teaching in integrated pharmacotherapy courses and leading the department as Chair.
Her research focuses on chronic disease management (endocrinology, cardiology, pulmonology), interprofessional education, and ambulatory care practice outcomes. Notable projects include evaluating postgraduate residency programs and analyzing diabetes care in interprofessional settings. She has contributed to policy work on pharmacist payment parity and non-traditional educational strategies.
Publications span residency program evaluations, billing opportunities for pharmacists, and diabetes management innovations.
