Henk Visscher is Professor of Housing Quality and Process Innovation at Delft University of Technology's Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment. He directs the TU Delft Urban Energy Institute, a university-wide network focused on energy in the built environment. His research examines process innovations that ensure and improve housing quality, with emphasis on energy efficiency, environmental impact, usability, health, and safety.
Visscher leads multiple national and European research projects including DEMO-BLog, SHAPE-EU, Condoreno, ALIGN4Energy, and JustPrepare. His work addresses the energy transition of existing housing stocks to meet climate goals. He coordinates working groups in ENHR and CIB and is affiliated with SBE and EFL.
