H. L. T. Quan is Associate Professor of Justice and Social Inquiry in the School of Social Transformation at Arizona State University, with affiliate appointments in African/African American Studies, Asian Pacific American Studies, Women's and Gender Studies, and the Sidney Poitier New American Film School.
Her research examines radical thought and praxis, including feminist consciousness, utopian thought, data justice, and the Black Radical Tradition. She authored Growth Against Democracy: Savage Developmentalism in the Modern World (2012) and edited Feminist Freedom Warriors (2019).
