Guro Busterud is an Associate Professor in Nordic Linguistics at the University of Oslo's Faculty of Humanities, specializing in Norwegian as a second language. She holds a PhD from NTNU and leads the research group 'Second and Third Languages: Acquisition, Learning and Use.' Her work focuses on multilingualism, grammatical structures, and language acquisition across ages and language stages.
Her affiliations include the CLIMA project (NFR-funded), GenVAC project, and membership in AcqVA and FANT research groups. She teaches courses on language acquisition and multilingualism, including NOAS2101 and NOAS1100. Awards include membership in the Academy for Younger Researchers (2017-2021).
