Bahra Rashidi is a PhD candidate and Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oslo, focusing on Scandinavian linguistics. Her research emphasizes syntax, particularly subject-verb placement, and explores language contact, language change, and sociolinguistics in multilingual contexts. She currently investigates sentence structure in spoken Norwegian.
She teaches courses including NOAS1100 – Norsk som andrespråk (Norwegian as a Second Language) and NOR1100 – Norsk grammatikk (Norwegian Grammar). Her work intersects with the research group Second and third language acquisition and use. Notable publications include a 2022 study on linguistic features among youth in multiethnic environments in Fredrikstad.
