Gui Deng Lee

Gui Deng Lee is an Assistant Professor of Strategic Management at the Lee Kong Chian School of Business, Singapore Management University (SMU). He earned a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota (2018), a CEMS MIM from London School of Economics and HEC Paris (2011), and degrees in Management and Environmental Engineering from NUS (2011). His research focuses on organizational responses to digital failures, cybersecurity, institutional activism, stakeholder management, and entrepreneurship in emerging economies.

Lee has taught courses like Strategy (Undergraduate) and Strategic Management (MBA). His work intersects disciplines such as digital transformation, sustainability, and corporate social responsibility. He has authored impactful papers in journals like Strategy Science and Academy of Management Journal, analyzing trends in cybersecurity and institutional influence on corporate strategies.
