Dr. Guan H. Tang is a Reader in Commercial Law and Director of the Dual LLM in Commercial Law (London/Singapore) at Queen Mary University of London's School of Law. She also co-leads the Athena Swan Implementation Group. Previously, she held roles as Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader at Northumbria University and Associate Professor at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. Her academic journey includes a Master’s from Queen's University Belfast and a PhD from the University of Edinburgh, focusing on intellectual property rights in China.
Her research emphasizes comparative intellectual property law and technology governance, with a current focus on AI regulation.
