Gro Bjørnerud is a Professor of French Literature and Cultural Studies at the Department of French Literature, Faculty of Arts, University of Oslo. Her career spans administrative leadership as Pro-Rector (2017–2021) and Vice-Dean for Studies and Education (2007–2014), alongside academic roles in Oslo and Stavanger. She holds a Dr.Art. from the University of Oslo (1999).
