About
Gretchen Bunde is a Lecturer in Composition & Rhetoric at the University of Mississippi's Department of Writing & Rhetoric, located within the College of Liberal Arts. She holds an M.A. in English Composition and Rhetoric from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (2012) and a B.S. in Education from Berry College (2006).
Her research focuses on writing pedagogy, intersections of pop culture in education, and the role of artificial intelligence in composition studies. She teaches foundational writing courses including WRIT 100/101/102 and DS 098 Intermediate English.
- Recipient of the X. A. Kramer, Jr. Award for Outstanding Teacher of Writing and Rhetoric in both 2016 and 2022
