Gregory Shook is an oboist and music educator affiliated with Shepherd University's School of Music. He holds a Bachelor and Master of Music from the University of Maryland and a Master of Church Music from Shenandoah University (high honors). As a professional musician, he has performed with major ensembles including the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra and Washington National Symphony. Shook currently teaches at Shepherd University and previously at Gettysburg College, Hagerstown Community College, and The Music Academy of State College.
His leadership roles include co-founding and serving as Music/Artistic Director for Hagerstown Choral Arts (100-voice ensemble), and holding positions in the American Choral Directors Association and American Guild of Organists. He regularly conducts workshops and guest conducting engagements.
