Gregorios Daniel Schevig Brogstad is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Natural Sciences, Practical-Aesthetic, Social and Religious Studies at Høgskolen i Oslo og Akershus (HiOA). His primary affiliations include teaching mathematics and mathematics didactics at the Halden campus. He holds a Cand. scient. in pure mathematical analysis from the University of Bergen and a business economist degree from Molde University College.
His research focuses on mathematics education, particularly addressing misconceptions in mathematics learning and problem-solving strategies. He has extensive experience as a lecturer in upper secondary education since 1995 and served as a senior adviser in the Norwegian Directorate of Education, specializing in curriculum development, national exams, and educational assessments.

His recent publication explores the challenges of implementing Zankov’s pedagogical system in Norwegian primary mathematics classrooms.
