Greg Morris

Dr. Greg Morris is a member of the music faculty at Evangel University, where he also graduated, and has been teaching since 1999. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance from the University of North Texas and a Master of Music from Texas Christian University. His professional work includes extensive performance in solo, sacred, and chamber music settings, and he is currently a member of the Excelsis Trio.

Dr. Morris's research and performance interests focus on piano performance, chamber music, sacred concerts, and music education. He frequently conducts masterclasses and workshops and serves as a clinician and adjudicator in music events.

He is actively involved in professional music organizations, including the Music Teachers National Association, the Springfield Area Music Teachers Association (where he served as past president), and Pi Kappa Lambda, the national music honor society.

Dr. Morris is also an avid outdoorsman, motorcyclist, cyclist, and holds a black belt in Taekwondo. He and his wife Sheila have two adult children.
