Graysen Wolfe

Graysen Wolfe is a Lecturer in the Writing & Critical Inquiry Program at the University at Albany, State University of New York. Previously, he taught public speaking in the Communication and Journalism department at the University of Maine. His educational background includes an MA in English from the University of Maine (2023) and a BA in English from Southern Connecticut State University.

Wolfe's research examines queer theory and the queering of bodies and narratives across writing studies, creative writing, and literature. As an openly queer educator, he emphasizes deconstructing cisheteronormative frameworks in academia and advocates for classroom environments centered on inclusivity, identity development, and critical questioning of systemic structures. His pedagogy frames education as a space for 'play and exploration,' where marginalized voices are amplified.
