Grant Neil Havers is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Philosophy at Trinity Western University, with a cross-appointment in the Department of Political Studies. He teaches in the Masters of Arts in Interdisciplinary Humanities program and holds a PhD in Social and Political Thought from York University (1993) and a BA (First Class Honors) in Philosophy from the University of Calgary (1987). His research focuses on political philosophy, particularly modern political theory, the conservative tradition, and biblical foundations of political thought. He has authored two books and contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications. Havers is a member of the Eric Voegelin Society and has received the Davis Distinguished Teaching Award (2004).
