Gonzalo Freixes

Gonzalo Freixes is an Adjunct Professor of Accounting and Associate Dean of the Fully Employed MBA and Executive MBA Programs at UCLA Anderson School of Management. He has been at UCLA since 1990, teaching courses in business law, international business law, business ethics, taxation, and real estate law.

• Fluent in Spanish, English, French, and Catalan
• Former practicing attorney in California (licensed since 1979)
• Coaches UCLA Mock Trial Program (4 national championships)

His research focuses on the intersection of legal frameworks and business operations, particularly in international taxation, corporate governance, and ethical decision-making. He has lectured globally on these topics and led international seminars for top business schools.

Scientific awards include the Neidorf Decade Teaching Award, Fully Employed MBA Outstanding Teacher Award, and induction into the AMTA Coaches Hall of Fame. He has also held leadership roles in the Executive MBA Council and California State Bar’s Judicial Nominees Commission.
