Gonzalo Conti

Gonzalo Conti is a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Law, Economics and Business of Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, affiliated with the Business Ethics & Management Accounting department. He joined the doctoral program "Ethics and Responsible Leadership in Business" at the Wittenberg Center for Global Ethics in October 2018 under the supervision of Prof. Schreck.

His research examines the legitimacy of market tools in delivering high-social-relevance services (education, healthcare). His dissertation, "Markets in the social sector: Three analyses of the legitimacy of using market tools to provide social services," bridges business ethics with socio-economic policy debates.
