Glenn R. Gaudette

Glenn R. Gaudette is the John W. Kozarich ’71 Chair and Professor in the Department of Engineering at Boston College. He pioneered plant-based scaffolds for heart regeneration and cellular agriculture, featured in global media including BBC and Netflix. His work bridges biomaterials science with engineering education, emphasizing human-centered design and sustainability.

Educational Background: PhD in Biomedical Engineering. He developed Boston College’s first Engineering program, integrating innovative research with interdisciplinary teaching.
