Glen Bauer serves as Associate Dean for the College of Arts and Sciences and Professor of Mathematics at Lawrence Technological University, where he has been a faculty member since 1982.
He earned both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Mathematics from Wayne State University, establishing his foundational expertise in quantitative disciplines.
His academic focus centers on core mathematical instruction, particularly the engineering calculus sequence, differential equations, and probability/statistics. He pioneered the Calculus I Workshop program from 1997 to 2003, integrating mathematical software to enhance pedagogical effectiveness.
