Giulia FIORANI is an Associate Professor of Organic Chemistry at the Department of Molecular Sciences and Nanosystems, Ca' Foscari University of Venice. She serves as Rector's Delegate for Knowledge Transfer and President of the Commission for the Valorisation of Knowledge. Her research focuses on sustainable synthetic approaches, catalytic processes for CO2 utilization, and the development of materials from renewable resources.
- Received a PhD in Chemical Sciences (2010) from the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”
- Completed postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Oxford and the Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ)
Research interests include green chemistry, organic carbonates, photocatalytic systems, and bio-based materials. Over 150 publications in high-impact journals, with an h-index of 16 and 2700+ citations. Editor for RSC Advances and board member of ChemSusChem.
