Ginette Carpenter

Dr. Ginette Carpenter is a Senior Lecturer in English at Manchester Metropolitan University. Her teaching and research focus on representations of trauma in post-war literature, feminist literary criticism, and transitional academic skills development. She coordinates first-year studies and pastoral support systems within the department.

Academic interests include conflicts between private and public trauma narratives in contemporary fiction, women's writing, and reader-response theories. She contributes to MA programs exploring temporality in literature and film.
