Gina-Anne Levow is an Associate Professor in the Linguistics Department at the University of Washington. She holds a PhD in Computer Science from MIT (1998), with a doctoral thesis focusing on recognizing spoken corrections in human-computer dialogue using acoustic-prosodic features.
Her research interests include intonation in spoken dialog systems, natural language processing, and human-computer interfaces. She is currently on leave, with an office in GUG 418B and contact via levow@uw.edu.
