Gerry Kerr is Associate Professor and Associate Dean Programs at Odette School of Business, University of Windsor. With a Ph.D. from York University, he researches immigrant entrepreneurship, older entrepreneurs, and small business strategies.
His work examines career transitions into entrepreneurship, social capital development through leisure activities, and longitudinal performance of ethnic ventures. Recent publications analyze edu-immigrant career paths and motivations of later-life entrepreneurs.

Kerr secured SSHRC grants for resilient immigrant entrepreneurship research and authored 'Creativity and Entrepreneurial Performance'. He previously served as President of the Canadian Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship.
