About
Germana Barone is a Full Professor of Mineral Georesources and Mineralogical-Petrographic Applications for the Environment and Cultural Heritage (GEO/09) at the Department of Biological, Geological and Environmental Sciences, University of Catania since 2020. She holds a PhD in Petrology of Magmatic Associations (1998–2001) and has led extensive research in archaeometry, cultural heritage conservation, and environmental geosciences. Her institutional roles include Rector's Delegate for the University Museum System and Director of the Museum of Sicilian Knowledge and Mirabilia.
