German Tcakulov is a Professor of Viola at Karlsruhe University of Music. Previously, he held teaching roles at Munich University of Music and Theatre (since 2021) and Hanns Eisler Academy of Music Berlin (2017-2022), where he assisted Tabea Zimmermann. He is a member of the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra (2018-2022) and collaborates with renowned conductors like Mariss Jansons and Daniel Barenboim. His chamber music partners include Stephan Forck and Tabea Zimmermann, performing at festivals such as Murten Classics and Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
