Gerardo R. Lopez

Gerardo R. Lopez is a Professor in the Department of Educational Administration at Michigan State University (MSU), where he holds roles as editor of Educational Administration Quarterly and serves in leadership positions. Previously, he taught at the University of Utah, Indiana University, and others. His research focuses on parent-school relations, immigrant education, and diversity in educational policy. He has contributed to federal civil rights cases involving undocumented students and English Language Learners. Lopez holds a Ph.D. from the University of Texas-Austin.
