Gerald Striedner serves as Professor and Head of the Institute of Bioprocess Science and Engineering at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU). He leads a comprehensive research group focused on upstream process development for the production of recombinant proteins, plasmid DNA, and virus-like particles using bacterial, insect, and mammalian cell systems.
