Gerald R. Shuster

Gerald R. Shuster is a Part-Time Lecturer at the University of Pittsburgh's Department of Communication. He holds a Bachelors and Masters in English-Speech and Communication from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), and a doctorate in political communication and presidential rhetoric from the University of Pittsburgh. His expertise spans political communication, presidential rhetoric, organizational communication, and public speaking.

Dr. Shuster has taught at both Robert Morris University and the University of Pittsburgh, currently instructing courses like Public Speaking, Organizational Communication, Political Communication, and Presidential Rhetoric I/II. He actively engages in media commentary through print and electronic platforms, analyzing major political events and personalities globally. Beyond academia, he serves as an elected community official and volunteers as a firefighter.
