Georgios Tsakos is Professor of Dental Public Health at University College London and Honorary Consultant with the NHS and Department of Health. His research examines oral health inequalities, quality of life measures, and connections between oral and systemic health.
He has published over 200 peer-reviewed papers and received the 2023 IADR Distinguished Scientist Award. Tsakos contributes to WHO initiatives through UCL's Dental Public Health Group, a WHO Collaborating Centre.
