- Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches (Paris VI, 2002)
- PhD in Physics (Paris XI, 1994)
- Engineer from École Supérieure d’Optique (1989)
Research focuses on molecular spectroscopy applications to atmospheric and planetary sciences, including balloon-borne instruments (SDLA, picoSDLA), Mars missions (Phobos-Grunt), and climate-relevant trace gases (H2O, CO2, CH4). Key contributions include diode laser sensor development for in-situ measurements, participation in international campaigns (SCOUT-AMMA, HIBISCUS), and contributions to ESA mission proposals (TandEM, Moonraker).
Scientific highlights include stratospheric water vapor dynamics, Martian atmospheric analysis, and validation of satellite data. His work integrates field measurements, laboratory spectroscopy, and numerical modeling to address climate and planetary science questions.
