George Sterman

George Sterman is a Distinguished Professor of Physics and Astronomy at Stony Brook University and Director of the Yang Institute for Theoretical Physics (YITP) since 2001. He has been affiliated with Stony Brook since 1979, joining as an Assistant Professor. His research focuses on quantum field theory, particularly its applications to high-energy physics and quantum chromodynamics (QCD).
