About
Felix Ringer is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Stony Brook University. His research explores fundamental principles of quantum chromodynamics (QCD) using theoretical, computational, and machine learning approaches.
Research combines perturbative QCD calculations, quantum computing algorithms for lattice field theories, and machine learning techniques for collider data analysis. Applications include precision jet physics, collider phenomenology, quark-gluon plasma studies, and new physics searches.
Recipient of the U.S. Department of Energy Early Career Award in 2023. Research contributes to experimental programs at LHC, RHIC, Jefferson Lab, and the future Electron-Ion Collider.
