George Rodriguez

George Rodriguez is an Adjunct Professor at the Loyola Institute for Ministry within the College of Nursing and Health at Loyola University New Orleans. He holds a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) from Barry University, an M.A. in Pastoral Ministries from Saint Thomas University, and a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Miami.

His research focuses on empowering youth through Christian and Jewish scriptural traditions by fostering critical independent thinking, social consciousness, and deeper spirituality. He specializes in Biblical studies, practical theology, and youth ministry.

Dr. Rodriguez has taught theology for 33 years at Msgr. Edward Pace High School, served as an adjunct instructor in biblical studies at Saint Thomas University’s School of Theology and Ministry (since 2004), and taught theology at Saint John Vianney College Seminary (2009–2014). He has been teaching at Loyola since 2011.
