George Leeson

Professor George Leeson, Visiting Professor of Demography at the University of Guanajuato-Leon in Mexico and Professorial Fellow at the Oxford Institute of Population Ageing, specializes in socio-demographic aspects of aging populations. He co-directs research networks in Latin America (LARNA) and Central/Eastern Europe (EAST), and leads the Centre for Migration and Ageing Populations (MAP Centre). His work combines demographic modeling with analysis of national/international datasets.

He contributes to journals like Population Horizons and advises governments and EU bodies on food safety, aging policy, and population trends.
