George Faithful

George Faithful is a Full Time Faculty member at Dominican University, serving as an Associate Professor of Religion and Philosophy within the School of Liberal Arts and Education. His dynamic teaching style reflects his interdisciplinary approach to understanding human nature through religious and philosophical frameworks.

George’s research spans the historical, ethical, and cultural dimensions of religions, with three major projects focused on: (1) comparative concepts of human nature across world religions; (2) the distinctiveness of American ambiguity; and (3) theological analysis of Saint John of the Cross’s poetry. His work emphasizes openness, interdisciplinary inquiry, and addressing existential questions that transcend single academic fields.
