Professor George Alogoskoufis is a distinguished economist currently serving as Professor of Economics at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) since 1990, and Head of the Department of Economics since 2020. He is also a Research Associate of the Hellenic Observatory of the London School of Economics and Political Science since 2011, and a Fellow of the European Economic Association since 1999.
