Professor George Alogoskoufis of the Athens University of Economics and Business (since 1990) is a leading economist specializing in international macroeconomics, inflation dynamics, and European economic integration. As Head of the Department of Economics (since 2020) and Research Associate at the London School of Economics Hellenic Observatory (since 2011), he combines academic research with policy engagement.
