Dr. Geoffrey Vincent serves as Assistant Dean of Advising in the PreHealth program at Washington University's College of Arts & Sciences. Previously, he was a Professor of Biology at Northland College in Ashland, Wisconsin, and has extensive experience in biology education and research.

- MS in Biology - University of Central Missouri (research focus: ticks and tick-borne pathogens)
- PhD in Biology - South Dakota State University (research focus: ecology and epidemiology of West Nile virus)
Research Focus:
Dr. Vincent's research has centered on understanding the complex relationships between arthropod vectors and the pathogens they transmit. His work has particularly focused on ticks and tick-borne pathogens, examining their impact on human, animal, and ecosystem health. His doctoral research on West Nile virus ecology and epidemiology contributed to understanding mosquito-borne disease dynamics.
