Geoffrey Silvera

Dr. Geoffrey Silvera is an Associate Professor of Health Services Administration at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB)'s School of Health Professions. He previously served on the faculty at Auburn University. His academic roles include Program Director in his department and Associate Scientist positions in the School of Medicine. He holds a PhD from Penn State University, an MHA from the University of Florida, and a BS in Psychology and Mathematics from the same institution. Dr. Silvera is a certified Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) professional and serves on editorial boards for QMHC and as Associate Editor of PXJ.

His expertise spans Strategic Healthcare Management, Patient Experience Optimization, Health Equity, and Diversity Management.
