Geoffrey M. Knoerzer serves as an Instructor in the School of Accountancy & MIS at DePaul University's Driehaus College of Business and holds a parallel teaching position at Lewis University. He currently teaches technology courses in DePaul's MBA program specializing in ecommerce and information technology operational management.
His academic credentials include:

Knoerzer leverages over 30 years of industry expertise in telecommunications and high-volume transaction systems. As former VP and CIO for Verizon Wireless Midwest (6 years) and Afni, Inc., he led 25 billing system conversions and legacy company transitions. His technical focus spans ecommerce infrastructure, BSS/OSS frameworks, financial transaction processing, and cellular support systems—including foundational work on the FCC's 1978 AMPS cellular trial in Chicago.
His teaching directly integrates real-world case studies from telecommunications, healthcare, logistics, and financial sectors where he transformed complex IT challenges into profit-generating solutions.
