Geoffrey Burgess is an Instructor of Baroque Oboe at the Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester. Internationally recognized for his expertise in historical oboes, he has performed with Les Arts Florissants and other leading early music ensembles across Europe, Australasia, and the US. His career spans 17th-century French repertoire to contemporary compositions. Educated in Sydney and The Hague, he holds a musicology PhD from Cornell University.
