Geoffrey Barstow is an Associate Professor at Oregon State University's School of History, Philosophy & Religion. His research focuses on Tibetan Buddhism, particularly the historical and ethical dimensions of meat consumption, vegetarianism, and animal ethics within Buddhist traditions.
