Geoff Pingree is a Professor of Cinema Studies and English at Oberlin College, part of the College of Arts and Sciences. He is an Emmy award-winning documentary filmmaker and director of StoryLens Pictures, a nonprofit producing films on pressing social issues. His work aims to foster education, public dialogue, and societal change. He holds a PhD and MA from the University of Chicago.
