Geoff Balkman, PhD, L/CPO, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Washington School of Medicine. He is a certified prosthetist/orthotist actively engaged in advancing prosthetic and orthotic technologies and improving patient care standards.

Dr. Balkman's research focuses on developing clinical assessment tools, including physical performance tests and patient-reported outcome measures, at the University of Washington Center on Outcomes Research in Rehabilitation (UWCORR). His work emphasizes mobility evaluation and orthotic device efficacy.
