Gene Law is an Advanced Lecturer and Course Coordinator for MATH 131 and 132 in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Loyola University Chicago. He holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University (1998) and an MS in Mathematics from Loyola University Chicago (2013).
With extensive teaching experience spanning high school, community college, and university levels, he has instructed courses in Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Statistics, and Mechanics. His research interests focus on mathematics education and pedagogical approaches.
Before joining Loyola, Law spent eight years teaching internationally in Tokyo, Madrid, and London, where he also served as Head of Pastoral Care at a private high school. His professional background includes prior work as a Design Engineer in the HVAC industry.
