Gayle Golden

Gayle Golden is a Senior Lecturer and Charnley Professor at the University of Minnesota's Hubbard School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She teaches journalism fundamentals including community reporting, literary journalism, and digital skills. Golden coordinates practicum programs like Report for Minnesota and the AccessU publication, which highlights underrepresented student communities. She serves on university committees addressing educational policy, mental health, and diversity, and previously worked as a science writer for the Dallas Morning News.
