Gayatri Devi

Dr. Gayatri Devi is Professor of Liberal Arts at Savannah College of Art and Design, with previous appointments at Lock Haven University and University of Texas at Dallas. She holds a PhD in English from University of North Dakota and graduate degrees from University of Kerala. Her scholarship focuses on postcolonial studies, indigenous narratives, and gender representation in media.

Her extensive publication record includes the 2021 book Indigenous Films in North America and numerous journal articles examining cultural representation in literature and film. Research interests span postcolonial theory, indigenous studies, and gender representation in media.
