Gary W. Perry

Dr. Gary W. Perry is a Professor of Neuroscience and Director of the Center for Complex Systems at Florida Atlantic University's Charles E. Schmidt College of Science. Since joining FAU in 1989, he has held significant administrative roles including Provost (2014-2018) and Dean of the College of Science (2006-2013), shaping academic programs across the university.

He has been instrumental in developing graduate programs and fostering regional research collaborations, including co-founding the South Florida Bioscience Consortium. His leadership extends to establishing FAU's medical school and partnerships with leading neuroscience institutes in Florida.
