Garner Cochran is an Associate Professor of Mathematics at Berry College, affiliated with the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. His teaching focuses on differential equations, linear algebra, mathematical modeling, and calculus, emphasizing real-world applications. Dr. Cochran holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Trinity University and a Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina, where he was supervised by Eva Czabarka.
His research explores extremal graph theory, network science, and computational biology/bioinformatics. Beyond academia, he enjoys hiking, cooking, gardening, and college football.
