Dr. Gabriel Marques Pontes is a Researcher at the Climate Change Research Centre (CCRC) and the Australian Centre for Excellence in Antarctic Sciences (ACEAS) at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). His work focuses on understanding the oceans' role in the climate system, particularly how past ice sheets, carbon dioxide, and solar radiation have impacted oceans and how these insights can inform future climate projections.
